Shameless is a rough show, guys. While Ian himself isn't generally the most offensive part of it, the topics that may come up run from alcoholic narcessitic parent to violent homophobia. He's also done some sex work, had some substance abuse issues, and has been in some wildly illegal relationships with older men. He's also prone to bi polar episodes.
